(사)한국여성작곡가회 회원 여러분께, 이태리 여성작곡가회Donne in Musica는 2005년 이후부터 협회본부가 위치한 Fiuggi에서 여성작곡가와 음악학자들에게 주거지를 제공하고 있습니다. (번역 및 요약정리: 김민경 국제.기획위원) FONDAZIONE ADKINS CHITI: DONNE IN MUSICA 8 November 2015 Dear Friends and Colleagues, Please find below our call for Women Composers or Musicologists for Residencies in Fiuggi to encourage international promotion, collaboration and capacity building. Since 2005 we have given hospitality to scholars and composers of all ages from: Austria, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Italy, England, France, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Rumania, Serbia and Turkey. Residencies last from 1 to 6 months. Guests work with our staff for 15 hours a week on research projects or for the digital Encyclopaedia of women composers, songwriters and creator of music. During their stay composers are invited to write a new work for the Foundation’s concert series. Applications for 2016 will close on the 15^th December for residencies available from June to December. All applicants need a working knowledge of English and must be proposed by an Organisation within our International Honour Committee. Accommodation is in small apartments in Fiuggi Città, a medieval village 60 km from Rome (75 minutes by coach). Each apartment has a fully furnished kitchen, and is complete with bed linen and towels. There is WIFI in central squares and meeting places. The monthly cost for the Residency is Euro 900,00 which covers the rental of an apartment including cleaning, laundry, heating, gas, electricity, a contribution towards food costs, the paperwork for a scholar’s visa (when necessary), and an insurance policy against accidents,. Applicants should send a letter, endorsed by one of the IHC organisations, together with a curriculum and list of works already written (for composers) or research undertaken (for musicologists). They should state their motivation for wishing to come to Fiuggi. For 2016 there are THREE one month residencies where hospitality costs (but not food) are offered by Members of our Board and Friends of the Foundation. Successful applicants will be invited to donate 20 hours of work per week to the Foundation’s library and archives. Precedence will be given to older women and musicologists.
